In our lives we will all have things that are difficult. It is simply a part of the human condition. Sometimes these difficulties feel insurmountable especially if we find that we have to deal with them on our own.
I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for 8 years, have been a military spouse, a teacher and professor, and am currently a qualified supervisor in the state of Florida. As a therapist, my ultimate goal is to help people improve their lives. Essentially, you are the expert in your life, I can be the liaison between the "now" you and the goals that lead you to become the future you.
My specialties include trauma, stress and anxiety and relationship counseling. I have training in many therapy modalities that I use to help my clients, and I continue to add to those trainings so that I can find the best fit for each situation or individual.
I am passionate about helping people and feel an innate desire to do so. I am here to listen. I am here to help. I would love to hear from you so that you so that you can begin your journey to a happier, more satisfying life.

As the spouse of a retired Air Force veteran and overseas contractor, mother of 5, and grandmother of 4, I am all too familiar with how difficult the demands of everyday life can become.

I work with individuals who may be experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
I am EMDR trained and can offer this powerful therapy for the treatment of trauma and other issues.
I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in
Marriage and Family Therapy through National University.
I complete my clinical training in September 2025.
My normal hours for practice are:
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 11am to 5pm

I bring six years of experience in the mental health field, including serving as a mental health crisis counselor and facilitating psycho-social rehabilitation groups. These roles have deepened my understanding of human resilience and the importance of creating safe, supportive spaces for growth and healing.
I am passionate about using my experience, empathy, and education to work collaboratively with couples, families, and individuals as they navigate challenges and strive for meaningful change. I believe that genuine connection and understanding are at the heart of therapeutic work.
Virginia Satir once said, “Problems are not the problem; coping is the problem.” This perspective inspires me to empower people to develop healthier coping mechanisms and build stronger relationships to better navigate life’s challenges and rely on their own resilience and resources with confidence.
My available hours are:
Tuesday-Friday from 1pm-5pm
I am currently a master's student in the Marriage and Family Therapy program at Capella University, with my internship spanning from January 2025 to December 2025.
